Junaid Metals in Manama, Bahrain, offers Stainless Steel 310S Forgings manufactured to international standards for demanding industrial environments. These forgings are designed for high-temperature service and are characterized by excellent strength, superior oxidation resistance, and long durability. The company provides customized solutions to sectors including petrochemical, power generation, and furnace manufacturing, ensuring consistent quality and engineered precision in all 310S forged products
Stainless Steel 310S forgings consist of 24.0–26.0% chromium, 19.0–22.0% nickel, a low carbon content (maximum 0.08%), with up to 2.00% manganese, 1.50% silicon, 0.045% phosphorus, and 0.030% sulfur. The alloy has a density of 7.75 g/cm³ and offers a tensile strength of around 515 MPa with a yield strength minimum of 205 MPa. Its low carbon content delivers improved resistance to intergranular corrosion, while high chromium and nickel provide stability and strength at temperatures up to 1100°C. The material is non-magnetic and maintains ductility under thermal cycling conditions.

To assess the forging strength of Stainless Steel 310S for aerospace, perform mechanical testing such as tensile, hardness, and fatigue tests to ensure it meets required specifications for high-temperature and stress-resistance.
The most suitable forging techniques for Stainless Steel 310S include open-die forging and closed-die forging, which offer excellent control over shape and material properties, ensuring strength and durability.
To improve the surface finish of forged Stainless Steel 310S parts, employ methods like machining, polishing, abrasive blasting, or electropolishing to achieve a smooth, corrosion-resistant surface.
Stainless Steel 310S Forgings are widely used in high-temperature environments due to their ability to withstand oxidation and thermal cycling. Typical applications include furnace components, heat treatment baskets, heat exchangers, kiln liners, burner parts, and petrochemical process equipment where reliability in extreme temperatures is paramount. Thanks to their resistance to oxidation and sulfidation, these forgings are preferred in chemical processing, oil and gas refining, power generation, and industrial heating systems. They are engineered for environments where ordinary stainless steels fail to deliver consistent performance and longevity.
